All inclusive: 12% increase in German Market

A survey on the travel behavior of Germans showed that in 2014 the all inclusive market increased by 12% compared to 2013

According to a GfK survey on the travel behavior of Germans, in 2014 the all inclusive market increased by 12% compared to 2013.

This trend, according to experts, will continue, due to the weak euro, since it allows Germans tourists to have control over the vacations total cost.

Dramatic increase 

All inclusive holidays increased dramatically in the last 10 years on the German market.

Indicatively, TUI recorded a 60% increase over 10 years in all inclusive packages, especially in Turkey, Egypt and Cape Verde, but also in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Strong growth 

Alltours, also saw strong all inclusive growth in Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic and Turkey.

FTI programmes for 2016 will further encompass 200 all-inclusive hotels on the Canary Islands, Egypt and Jamaica while the grooup sees high growth potential in several additional markets, including Greece, Italy and Spain.
