Main opposition New Democracy has taken the lead over governing Syriza according to the first opinion poll since the surprise election of Kyriakos Mitsotakis last Sunday.
According to the poll by Metron Analaysis for the newspaper Parapolitika, New Democracy leads Syriza by 3.7%.
The poll results:
New Democracy: 23.6%
Syriza: 19.9%
Golden Dawn: 4.6%
Pasok/Dimar: 4.1%
Communist party KKE: 4.6%
Potami: 2.2%
Independent Greeks: 2.1%
Centrist Union: 2.7%
Popular Unity: 2.3%
